Prácticas formativas: una mirada desde la formación inicial docente en Chile

Las prácticas formativas son fundamentales para los docentes. Permiten observar a los educandos y construir aprendizajes. En consecuencia, el presente estudio realizado en una universidad chilena, tuvo por objetivo analizar las prácticas formativas desde sus propios actores. Por ello, se utilizó el método cualitativo de investigación y la técnica de entrevistas en profundidad a 24 estudiantes de pedagogía básica una vez finalizada su práctica pedagógica. Dentro de los resultados podemos revelar que el mayor problema que reflejan los estudiantes en formación es asumir el rol docente y actuar con un repertorio diverso de estrategias para mantener la atención de sus estudiantes. En conclusión, la práctica progresiva y la reflexión constante del ejercicio docente, son dos acciones que deben convertirse en cotidianidad de los estudiantes en formación pedagógica Training practices are essential for teachers. They allow students to observe and build learning. Consequently, the present study carried out in a Chilean university, aimed to analyze the training practices from its own actors. Therefore, the qualitative research method and the technique of in-depth interviews with 24 students of basic pedagogy were used after completing their pedagogical practice. Within the results we can reveal that the biggest problem that students in training reflect is assuming the teaching role and acting with a diverse repertoire of strategies to maintain the attention of their students. In conclusion, the progressive practice and constant reflection of the teaching exercise are two actions that must become the daily routine of students in pedagogical training.
