N2  - El presente trabajo busca reflexionar respecto del aporte de las políticas públicas educativas en la promoción de la salud en estudiantes chilenos. Se revisa la evolución de la legislación en este aspecto y sus aportes potenciales a la mejora de la calidad de vida y bienestar de los estudiantes, sus familias y la comunidad. Se reconoce el rol de la educación en la formación de recursos humanos para promover consciencia y conductas saludables a nivel físico, psicológico y social.
